You need photo ID and proof of address (legal requirement under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013). We record every transaction. There's no special licence required for individuals selling their own lead.
Do you buy lead flashing?
Yes — old lead flashing, valleys, soakers, and aprons are our most common lead purchases. Roofers bring it in regularly. Just bring it clean and dry.
